Prayer times refer to the times when the five obligatory daily prayers and the recommended prayers in Islam should be performed. All prayer times are calculated based on the movements of the sun. Since sunrise and sunset times vary, prayer times also vary according to geographical location. Therefore, prayer times differ across continents, countries, regions, and cities. The prayer times based on the movements of the sun, including the five daily prayers, Tarawih, and Eid prayers, are as follows:

House of Fajr

The time when the night ends, and the time for the Isha prayer ends, and the time for the Fajr prayer begins, which is when the first light of dawn appears.

Sunrise

The time when the sun has just risen above the horizon, marking the end of the Fajr prayer time. With the sunrise, the obligatory time for the Fajr prayer also ends.

Morning Prayer Time

The time starting from the entry of the Imsak time and ending with the sunrise.

Noon Prayer Time

The time when the sun starts to decline from its zenith and the Dhuhr prayer time begins. In other words, the Dhuhr prayer time starts after the sun passes its highest point in the sky and begins to move towards the west.

Asr Prayer Time

According to the majority of jurists, the time begins when the shadow of an object reaches its length, and according to Abu Hanifa, it is when the shadow reaches twice its length, continuing until sunset. During this period, the Asr prayer can be performed.

Maghrib Prayer Time

The time starting with sunset and ending with the disappearance of twilight in the western horizon. During this time, the Maghrib prayer can be performed.

Isha Prayer Time

The time starting with the evening darkness and lasting until the beginning of the second dawn. The Isha prayer can be performed during this period, and the Witr prayer is also performed during this time.

Tarawih Prayer Time

The time for the Tarawih prayer starts with the entry of the Isha prayer time and continues until the Fajr prayer.

Eid Prayer Time

The time for the Eid prayer starts after the sunrise and the end of the undesirable time for prayer, and it continues until the sun reaches its highest point in the sky (istiwâ).
