Caglar Soyuncu has been excluded from Türkiye's EURO 2024 squad due to injury, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) confirmed on Wednesday.
TFF said in a statement that defender Soyuncu injured his posterior thigh muscle in the Turkish Super Lig match between Fenerbahce and Istanbulspor last week.
The 28-year-old player scored two goals in 55 matches for the Turkish national team.
Türkiye have been paired with Georgia, Portugal, and the Czech Republic in Group F of EURO 2024.
The 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship will begin on June 14, featuring 24 teams competing for the title.
It will end a month later with the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
