A residential building collapsed in southeastern Pakistan, killing 15 people and injuring several others, local media reported Saturday.
The five-story building in the Karachi city of the Sindh province collapsed on Friday, reported Dawn newspaper, citing police surgeon Summaiya Syed.
Rescue teams operated overnight at the collapse site.
The building was previously declared uninhabitable by authorities due to its run-down structure, which was further weakened by recent rains, said Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Syed Asad Raza, as cited by the media outlet.
According to the police surgeon, no injured person was reported after 3 pm local time (1000GMT) on Friday, meaning the number of wounded people remained nine since Friday.
