
Global firms from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, UAE, China, South Africa, and Pakistan showcase their products in defense, aviation, and aerospace fields in their national pavilions at 6-day event in Istanbul
The 17th International Defense Industry Fair 2025 (IDEF) in Istanbul is attended by numerous global defense industry and technology firms and organizations from China, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
The six-day IDEF 2025 event, which began on Tuesday, is attended by over 400 foreign defense and technology companies from 44 countries.
Global firms from Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, China, South Africa, and Pakistan showcase their defense, aviation, and aerospace products in their national pavilions at the event.
Defense and aviation giants such as BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Lockheed Martin, and Airbus are also participating in the event with their products.
Other than foreign firms, Turkish defense giants Baykar, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), Aselsan, Havelsan, Roketsan, FNSS, Otokar, MKE, and many other firms
Main battle tanks, armored combat vehicles, electronic warfare systems, tactical ballistic missiles, air defense missiles, rockets and guided missiles, and unmanned ground vehicles are all on display in the land vehicles section of the exhibition.
Fixed-wing platforms, electronic warfare technologies, air defense systems, satellites, unmanned aerial vehicles, and aircraft engines are examples of air vehicles.
Combat and support ships, fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms, unmanned surface and undersea vehicles, and command, control, and communication systems are all part of the fair's naval vehicles segment.
Visitors will have the opportunity to investigate logistics and security technologies.
The defense fair is being held simultaneously at the Istanbul Fair Center, Ataturk Airport, Wow Hotel, and Atakoy Marina.
The event, organized by KFA Fairs with support from Türkiye's Defense Industries Secretariat (SSB) and the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, has Anadolu as its global communication partner.
This year's event features ministers, chiefs of staff, commanders, and top representatives from 103 countries, with stalls opening from 44 countries.
The event hosts over 900 domestic and 400 international defense firms.
