Benfica player scores 5 goals, makes 2 assists in 5 league appearances
Benfica's Turkish winger Kerem Akturkoglu was named Player of the Month of the Portuguese Primeira Liga in September/October, the football club announced Thursday.
The Eagles' no. 17 gained 29.06% of the votes from the league's head coaches, the statement added.
The 26-year-old scored five goals and made two assists during 273 minutes of play time in five league games.
Akturkoglu, who had also been named Forward of the Month of the league for the same period, joined Benfica from Turkish team Galatasaray in September.
