28-year-old English forward joins Watford on free transfer
London-based football club Arsenal's forward Danny Welbeck joined another Premier League club Watford as a free transfer on Wednesday.
The English side welcomed former Arsenal forward with a video on Twitter.
The London team said on its website that Welbeck inked a contract with his new club, keeping himself at Vicarage Road Stadium.
"We're delighted to confirm the signing of @England international @DannyWelbeckon a free transfer," the club said in a Twitter post.
Welbeck previously played for Sunderland, Manchester United and Arsenal in English Premier League.
He lifted a UEFA Champions League title in 2008 and two Premier League titles with Manchester United.
English player participated at UEFA Euro 2012 and 2014 FIFA World Cup with his nation.
He was also part of England national team which reached the semi finals at 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
