Group A clash on Thursday evening will mark Istanbul club's 100th match in UEFA compeittion
Fenerbahce will mark a European milestone when the club takes on Manchester United on Thursday at 9. p.m. local time (1800 GMT) in Istanbul.
The clash in Ulker Stadium Sukru Saracoglu Sport Complex will be Fenerbahce's 100th game in the Europa League and its predecessor competitions dating back to the 1971-1972 UEFA Cup.
During its 99-match in history in the tournament, Fenerbahce managed 42 wins, 23 draws and were defeated 34 times.
Fenerbahce currently stands in third place in Group A with four points from three matches. Dutch team Feyenoord leads the group with six points while United stands in second.
Fenerbahce already lost 4-1 to United away on Oct. 20.
One of Fenerbahce's assets against United will be Robin van Persie who enjoyed a successful career as a striker at Old Trafford from 2012 to 2015, scoring 58 goals in 105 appearances.
Manchester United has plenty of firepower of its own in the form of Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba.
