The 2023 French Open (Roland Garros) men's semifinals will see a match between Norwegian fourth seed Casper Ruud and Germany's Alexander Zverev.
On Wednesday, 2022 runner-up Ruud eliminated Danish sixth seed Holger Rune with sets of 6-1, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in a quarterfinal match at Court Philippe-Chatrier in Paris to move into the semifinal stage.
Meanwhile world No. 22 Zverev beat Argentina's Tomas Martin Etcheverry 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to book his place in the semis.
In the other semifinal tie, Spanish top seed Carlos Alcaraz will face Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic, who won the French Open twice (2016 and 2021).
The French Open will run through June 11.
