Turkish wrestlers bagged two medals in the Senior U23 World Wrestling Championships late Tuesday, which wsd held in Romanian capital of Bucharest.
Osman Yıldırım, competing in Greco-Roman wrestling 130 kilograms category, won a silver medal.
In the final match, Yıldırım was ahead of Georgian wrestler Zviadi Pataridze with the score of 5-0, however, he lost the match with 5-6.
Fatih Cengiz, also competing in Greco-Roman wrestling, took third place in the 77 kilograms category.
In the third place match, Cengiz beat Sweden’s Khalid Kierchivey with a score of 5-1 for the bronze.
The championship will continue until Sunday.
