Turkish tennis player Soylu in action with Teichmann defeated their rivals in Juniors Girls Double Final in US Open
Turkish tennis player Ipek Soylu with Jil Belen Teichmann of Switzerland defeated Saturday Vera Lapko of Belarus and Teresa Mihalikova of Slovakia to claim the title in Juniors Girls Double Final in the US Open.
Soylu and Teichmann defeated their rivals 2-1 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York.
The game was initially stopped for an hour due to heavy rain.
Ipek Soylu has become the first tennis player who brings a Grand Slam title to Turkey.
