
New strategic partnerships forged with Aselsan, Turkish Aerospace Industries, Havelsan, other Turkish defense companies
Türkiye’s Defense Industries Secretariat signed supply contracts with Turkish defense firms to strengthen the country’s security forces at the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF) 2025.
The secretariat signed deals with defense contractors Nurol Teknoloji, Garanti Kompozit, and Ipek Defense to supply ballistic equipment for personnel, as part of a supply project by the Turkish Interior Ministry.
It also inked a deal with defense firm Aselsan to deliver remote-controlled stabilized weapon systems, with arms manufacturer Sarsilmaz for 9mm pistols, and with the Kale Group for 5.66mm infantry rifles.
The secretariat signed contracts with defense firm Havelsan for various projects, such as the T-70 helicopter simulation, and with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) for the delivery of 57 the firm’s Gokbey helicopters.
The six-day defense fair, which is set to wrap up this weekend, is organized by KFA Fairs with support from the secretariat and the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation.
