Turkish team maintains fourth place in standings
Turkey's Anadolu Efes beat Israel's Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague play Thursday.
The 79-71 win notches Anadolu Efes record to 17 - 9 to maintain fourth place in the standings. Anadolu Efes' Vasilije Micic scored 15 points.
Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv is in the ninth spot at 12-14.
Fenerbahce Beko is currently atop the league at 21 – 4 and will face Spain's Barcelona Lassa at home in Istanbul.
Fenerbahce Beko, Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow ensured playoff spots.
Turkey's Darussafaka Tekfen will face Spain's HerbalLife Gran Canaria in an away match Thursday.
Sixteen teams are competing in league -- four Spanish, three Turkish, two Russian and two Greek teams and one team each from Germany, Italy, Israel, Lithuania and Montenegro.
Turkey is represented by Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahce Beko and Darussafaka Tekfen.
The regular season is being played from Oct. 11, 2018 to April 5, 2019 with the top eight advancing to the playoffs to be played April 16 - 30.
Winners will advance to the Final Four on May 17-19 at Fernando Buesa Arena in the Spanish city of Vitoria-Gasteiz in single-elimination matchups.
