Boston Celtics rout reigning champs in Oakland, Gordon Hayward produces 30 points off bench

Boston Celtics rout the reigning champs Golden State Warriors 128-95 in the NBA regular season match in Oracle Arena, Oakland on Tuesday evening.

Celtics forward Gordon Hayward was the key player for his team's victory, scoring 30 points, grabbing seven rebounds and made four assists.

Celtics' All-Star guard Kyrie Irving tallied 19 points and 11 assists as well.

Jaylen Brown racked up 18 points and his teammate Jayson Tatum produced 17 points against Warriors.

The Celtics, losing four matches in a row after the All-Star break, picked up their pace by winning their second match in the last three showings.

They are currently sitting at 5th place in the Eastern Conference with 39 wins and 26 losses.

Home team superstar Stephen Curry scored 23 points. Warriors forward Kevin Durant produced 18 points.

Warriors -- playing without shooting guard Klay Thompson due to injury -- had their 20th loss this season, they are leading the Western Conference with 44 wins.
