Uruguay eliminated Portugal 2-1 in FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match at Fisht Stadium on Saturday evening.
Striker Edinson Cavani's two goals in both halves helped the South American side eliminate Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal.
The first goal for Uruguay came in the 7th minute, when Cavani headed Luis Suarez's cross inside.
Portugal responded with their own header goal in the 55th minute, when the corner kick met with Besiktas' defender Pepe.
However, Uruguay took the lead just seven minutes after, Cavani took the center stage once again with a sublime curled shot to beat the goalkeeper.
The loss meant the end of the tournament for superstar Ronaldo, eliminated on the same day as Argentine superstar Lionel Messi.
Russia 2018 may be the last World Cup for those two legends as Messi will turn 35 in 2022 Qatar tournament, while Ronaldo will be 37.
Uruguay will face France in the quarter-finals.
