Victims included 15 people who suffocated from tear gas fired by Israeli forces, Health Ministry says
At least 21 Palestinians waiting to get aid were killed near a US distribution point in southern Gaza on Wednesday, including many who suffocated from tear gas fired by Israeli forces, the Health Ministry said.
A ministry statement said that the victims included 15 people who suffocated from tear gas fired by the Israeli army in Khan Younis city.
“For the first time, deaths have been recorded due to suffocation and the intense stampede of citizens at aid distribution centers,” it added.
