On the night of July 15th, police officer Zeynep Sağır, who was on duty at the Gölbaşı Special Operations Headquarters, died a martyr after the bomb attack by FETÖ traitors.
After 16 years of service, 38 year old Zeynep, who returned to Turkey after 3 years of duty at the embassy in Kuwait, had come to Ankara on July 1st from the Special Operations Headquarters in Manisa, as a training expert to attend Basic Drills for Special Operations courses.
Mother of two, Special Operations Commissioner told her colleagues, “If I am martyred with a gun in my hands, I want to be buried in the Cebeci Police Martyr’s Cemetery,” and that is exactly where she was buried, after her funeral on July 19th.
Zeynep’s husband was a special operations retiree.
The name Martyr Zeynep Sağır was given to an Anatolian imam hatip high school in Yalova.
