Over 200 speakers share insights across 3 stages—Future Commerce, Masterclass, and Case Study

The transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the e-commerce sector took center stage at WORLDEF ISTANBUL 2025, a global trade fair that drew more than 15,000 attendees from over 80 countries.

This year's edition of WORLDEF featured in-depth discussions on how AI is reshaping various aspects of online commerce, from marketing and customer experience to data analytics and campaign strategies.

More than 200 speakers shared insights across three stages—Future Commerce, Masterclass, and Case Study—emphasizing how AI is enhancing speed, efficiency, and profitability in the e-commerce landscape. Panels underscored the growing role of AI as a strategic tool that provides brands with a competitive edge.

The event also hosted over 250 booths, where more than 500 retail brands showcased their products and services. A dedicated B2B networking area facilitated new partnerships in areas such as digital payments and logistics.

Notable speakers included Yandex Türkiye CEO Alexander Popovskiy, TikTok Türkiye Industry Lead Arif Topcu, HepsiJET CEO Atilla Alver, ebebek CEO Gonenc Sener, Yemeksepeti Founder Nevzat Aydin, and DJ-producer Dogukan Manco.

WORLDEF CEO Omer Nart said AI-themed sessions were met with strong interest and highlighted the critical role of AI in bridging e-commerce ecosystems across Istanbul, Dubai, and Riyadh.

“WORLDEF ISTANBUL has evolved into a truly global platform,” Nart said, noting that 40% of participating brands and 35% of attendees came from abroad.

“My biggest dream was for a brand born in Türkiye to become a leader in the global e-commerce ecosystem,” he added. “WORLDEF continues on its path with the vision of leading e-commerce events in Istanbul, Riyadh, and Dubai.”
