World number one men's tennis player Novak Djokovic beat 28th-seeded French Pouille 3-0 to advance to the final at the Australian Open on Friday.

In the semifinals of men's singles at Melbourne, six-time Australian Open champion Djokovic won 6-0, 6-2 and 6-2 against Pouille.

Top seed Djokovic will face world number two Rafael Nadal in the final on Sunday.

Spain's Nadal defeated the 14th-seeded Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas to advance to the final at the Australian Open on Thursday.

In the semifinals of women's singles, world number four Japanese Naomi Osaka beat Czech seventh seed Karolina Pliskova to advance to the final at the Australian Open on Thursday.
