An exceptionally diminutive handbag, modelled after a well-known Louis Vuitton design and barely visible to the human eye, was auctioned for an impressive sum of $63,000. This remarkable artifact was the creation of the MSCHF art collective, based in New York.
The creation of the handbag leveraged a sophisticated manufacturing process known as two-photon polymerization, a manufacturing technology utilized for 3D printing micro-scale plastic components. The bag was presented for sale in conjunction with a specially-equipped microscope, featuring a digital display for enhanced examination of the minute detail. According to the promotional photo, the bag also features the 'LV' emblem, a signature of Louis Vuitton.
