Rights group says more than 600 Palestinians have been killed, injured near Israeli-run aid centers

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor accused Israel on Friday of facilitating a deadly and chaotic aid distribution system in Gaza.

It alleges that Israeli-run aid centers have become hotspots of violence and exploitation.

In a post on X, the organization said that "at least 620 Palestinians have been killed or injured near aid distribution centres set up by Israel exclusively in central and southern Gaza, while the north remains cut off."

According to Euro-Med Monitor, the centers are not safe zones but sites of repeated bloodshed. "Thousands of Palestinians have been killed or injured at Israeli-run aid centres in Gaza, while proxy gangs operating on Israel's behalf loot aid convoys and terrorize civilians," it said.

Euro-Med dismissed the Israeli "myth" of facilitating humanitarian aid through an official mechanism.

"Fact: Israel employs armed gangs to disrupt aid, sow chaos, and maintain control," it said.

Human rights organizations and UN agencies have repeatedly warned that Gaza's humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate, with growing concerns about famine, displacement and violence surrounding aid deliveries. They widely criticized the new Israeli mechanism – the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
