New unit was designed in response to the growing use of AdBlue pump systems in recent years

Turkish modular structures company Karmod on Friday announced that it has developed a dedicated pump cabinet for the sale of AdBlue fluid at fuel stations, aiming to enhance both safety and alignment with station branding.

The new unit was designed in response to the growing use of AdBlue pump systems in recent years. AdBlue is a liquid used to reduce emissions in diesel vehicles manufactured since 2016.

"We observed a need for a cabinet that fully matches the corporate identity of fuel stations, especially since AdBlue began being sold through pumps in recent years," said Karmod Cabin General Manager Zekai Kucuk.

He said the new cabinet design integrates seamlessly into station layouts and has already attracted strong interest from operators, reflecting demand across the industry.

The pump cabinet is designed to fully enclose the AdBlue tank, helping to protect it from external impacts and improve on-site safety. The standard model, measuring 210 by 260 centimeters, can accommodate a liquid tank with a capacity of up to three tons. The tanks are produced in-house by Karmod's plastics division.

"For stations requiring larger volumes, we also design and manufacture larger cabinets tailored to their layout and identity,” Kucuk added.
