
Israel's Army Radio says killed man was security guard and was serving in reserve force
An Israeli reserve soldier was killed in a shooting attack in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, authorities said.
A military statement said that two gunmen conducted a combined shooting and stabbing attack near the Gush Etzion junction in the southern West Bank.
The army said soldiers and additional security personnel at the scene opened fire and killed them.
Israel's national ambulance service MDA said a 20-year-old man was critically injured in the attack and was later pronounced dead.
The Israeli Army Radio confirmed that the man killed in the attack was a security guard and was serving in the reserve force.
