People visit Kefken Pink Rocks in Kandira district of Kocaeli, Turkey on August 13, 2018. Pink rocks, used as quarry since ancient age, special for being soft in the water, and hardened once taken out of water. These rocks were cut in rectangle form and shipped by sea to Istanbul as they were often used in architecture during the Ottoman period.
