No injuries reported after Fenerbahce squad's aircraft forced to land in Hungary en route to U.K. Europa League fixture
A flight carrying Istanbul's Fenerbahce football squad made an emergency landing in Hungary on Wednesday after experiencing a bird strike.
A statement by the club said the team's flight landed at Budapest airport en route to the U.K. where Fenerbahce are due to play Manchester United in a Europa League match on Thursday.
No injuries were reported and the club said a replacement aircraft had departed from Turkey to take the players to their destination.
