Defense Ministry says EAGLE PARTNER 2025 to take place on Aug.12-20 in Armenia
Armenia on Saturday said it will hold military exercises on its territory with the US on Aug. 12-20.
"In preparation for participation in international peacekeeping missions, joint Armenian-American exercises EAGLE PARTNER 2025 will be held in the Republic of Armenia from August 12 to 20," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The exercises will involve servicemen of the peacekeeping brigade of the armed forces of Armenia, US Army Europe and Africa, as well as the Kansas National Guard.
The drills are designed to prepare and carry out peacekeeping tasks with an emphasis on medical evacuation procedures, according to the statement.
"The aim of the exercises is to enhance the interaction level of units participating in international peacekeeping operations within peacekeeping activities, exchange advanced experience in management and tactical communication, and increase the readiness of the peacekeeping unit of the armed forces of Armenia," the ministry said.
