
Many houses, roads, bridges damaged due to floods, landslides at Kayin state
Landslides, caused by heavy rains, killed at least eight people, while several remains missing in southeast Myanmar, according to Eleven Media Group on Thursday.
Many of the houses have been damaged due to the floods and the landslides at the Thandaunggyi town of the Kayin state.
Roads, bridges and communication in the area have also been damaged by the weather related incidents, making search and rescue operations harder to conduct.
